Prof. Kaliana Sitonio Eça
She holds a B.Sc. in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (2009), a Master’s degree in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2011), and a PhD in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas, with a sandwich period at the University of Alberta, funded by the PDSE-CAPES program (2015), and a Post-doctorate from the State University of Campinas. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor A in the Food Engineering course at the Federal University of Ceará. She has experience in Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on Food Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: membrane concentration processes, bioactive compounds, extraction from plant products, biodegradable films and coatings, and microencapsulation.
