Prof. Dorasilvia Ferreira Pontes
Holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará-UFC (1976), Specialization in Beer and Malt in Madrid, Spain (1978), a Master’s degree in Food Technology from the Federal University of Ceará-UFC (1983), a PhD from the State University of Campinas-UNICAMP (1998), and a Post-doctorate in Cereal Technology/Functional Foods at Universidad Miguel Hernández in Spain (2018). Currently, she is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Ceará-UFC. She is a researcher in Food Science and Technology, with a focus on Cereal Technology, Biotechnology, Functional Foods, and Quality Control in the Food Industry, supervising PhD, Master’s, and undergraduate research students.
