Recognition of Graduate Diplomas
The Federal University of Ceará (UFC) recognizes stricto sensu graduate diplomas issued by foreign institutions, in accordance with Resolution No. 03/2016 (CNE) and Resolution No. 01/CEPE/2017 (UFC).

The entire process is digital and must be carried out exclusively through the official MEC portal.
💰 Application Fee
R$ 1,500.00 (2024 Reference Value)
Payment is made via GRU (Federal Collection Guide), issued only after documentation confirmation on the platform.
Required Documentation (PDF)
- ID and CPF (Scanned copy).
- Diploma: Must contain the Hague Apostille or consular visa (if the country is not a signatory to the convention).
- Academic Transcript: Must contain the Hague Apostille or consular visa.
- Defense Minutes + Board CVs: Minutes with Hague Apostille/consular visa and summarized CV of the board members.
- Updated Lattes CV: Including description of research activities, internships, and scientific production derived from the thesis/dissertation (papers, conference presentations).
- Course Accreditation: External evaluation results of the course in the country of origin or documents proving the program’s reputation.
- Proof of Residence Abroad: Immigration extract or official document of entries and exits from the country to prove the course was taken in person.
