Academic Biography

He is a Food Engineer (UFC), Specialist in Fruit and Vegetable Technology (UFPel), and holds a Master’s and PhD in Food Science and Technology (UFC). He served as President of ABEA (2017-2022). He is the creator of the Extension Project Food Innovation HUB at UFC and works actively in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

  • Food biomaterials.
  • Development of new products and processes.
  • Functional foods and chronic disease prevention.
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Startups, Patents).
