Academic Biography

She holds a degree in Food Engineering (UFC, 2005), and a Master’s and PhD in Biochemistry (UFC, 2008/2012). She is the inventor of the “Natchup” sauce patent. Currently, she is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Food Engineering at UFC.

  • Plant-based products with functional properties (probiotic, prebiotic, and symbiotic).
  • Potential of agro-industrial co-products.
  • Bioaccessibility of nutrients and bioactives.
  • Active biodegradable packaging.
