Academic Biography
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1997), and a Master’s and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2002). Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UFC.

- Food drying.
- Non-thermal technologies (Cold plasma, Ultrasound, UV Light) for sensory and nutritional improvement.
- Extraction of bioactive compounds.
- Utilization of food industry residues.
