GCUB-Mob Program
The GCUB International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob) is an initiative of the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB). Its objective is to offer scholarships to international students interested in pursuing Master’s or PhD degrees at Brazilian universities.
About GCUB
GCUB is a non-profit civil association of academic, scientific, and cultural nature. It consists of a network of 101 Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and 7 foreign institutions.
Mission: To develop academic, scientific, and cultural relations among member institutions and promote university internationalization through international cooperation programs and projects.
Scholarship and Degree Information
- Allocation: Vacancies and scholarships are intended for Master’s and PhD courses in Brazil, as detailed in the Table of Master’s and Doctorates of Brazilian HEIs when calls for applications are launched.
- Requirement: Candidates must pursue the specific Master’s or PhD program for which they were selected.
- Degree: Upon completion, the candidate receives the title of Master or Doctor from the host institution.
- Diploma Validity: The degree is officially valid in the Federative Republic of Brazil. Recognition procedures in other countries are the sole responsibility of the student.
