Step-by-Step Procedure

Request Opening:
Contact the program coordination to request the opening of a SEI process.

Viability Check:
The coordination will check if the request meets UFC rules. If approved, within 5 working days, you will receive the SEI process number.

Send Medical Certificate:
The student (or guardian) must email the medical certificate immediately to: estudantescemufc@ufc.br.

Medical Evaluation:
The Medical Specialties Center (CEM) will evaluate the certificate and schedule an examination (if necessary). A technical opinion will be sent to the coordination.

Conclusion:
The coordination will communicate the final result to the student and course professors.

⚠️ Important Deadlines
- The request is valid only for the current semester.
- The final deadline for submitting the SEI Process is up to 7 (seven) days after the end of the academic semester.
